Jack Partridge Antiques Associates was a powerful force in the New England art and antique market for many decades. Moving back and forth from Maine to New York City and then back again, the business finally settled in North Edgecomb, Maine. At first specializing in English and continental furniture and antiques the business gradually became active in the Americana market. Finding and selling great folk paintings and important English art, the gallery flourished under the care of Jack and his wife Tatiana. For a serious collector no trip to Maine was complete without a visit to their expansive shop. We remember fondly the care taken to inform and educate those of us just beginning, as well as the seasoned mega collector they entertained regularly.
We were all treated with respect and consideration by the dean of the New England antique trade. This website is dedicated to the memory of a great and sorely missed antique trader.
